I have recently graduated from Epsom Girls Grammar School and in the last two years I have undertaken an early childhood course, which is an in-home childcare education and training programme, guided by the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whariki. This programme considers the health, safety and wellbeing of children, especially in the ages under 5.
I also have first hand knowledge with looking after children, as I have several younger cousins.
This experience would also support me with wanting to be an early childcare teacher.
